Meet Coach Kirsty

Owner and operator of Camel Rock Surf School.

Kirsty fell in love with surfing growing up on the Southern NSW coastline. For the past 12 years she has shared her passion for surfing and the ocean by surf instructing around Australia.

Landing on the far South Coast of NSW, she opened Camel Rock Surf School. A surf school that specialises in teaching and encouraging first timers.

Kirsty has a passion for motivating women to surf & to find their place in the line up.

Meet Coach Xahlia

Meet Coach KP, our true blue Aussie.

Xahlia is a seasoned surf coach and all-time Froth Queen.

Xahlia is the embodiment of the sea's spirit and a catalyst for holistic transformation and dancing along the waves. She doesn't just teach the art of riding waves; she nurtures a deep connection between body and board.

Through her holistic Movement training and all-around froth, you won’t stop laughing your way down the lineup!

Elise is easy to spot, as she always has the biggest smile in the line up!

Our clients are stoked to surf with Elise, as she is so happy and encouraging.

She is also an absolute wizard when it comes to capturing moments for social media.

  • Catch a train from Sydney to Kempsey, just 20min away.

Things to do before or after your stay at surfaris

NATIONAL PARKS

Just south of Crescent Head are the uncrowded beaches of Goolawah National Park; while at and Limeburners Creek National Park –  you can find significant Aboriginal heritage sites dating back thousands of years.

WALKING TRAILS

About 45min north of Crescent Head is Hat Head, a sleepy village surrounded by national park. Follow walking trails along the peninsula.

COASTAL EATERIES

Creso’s vibrant surf culture is celebrated in the town’s cool cafes and clothing boutiques.

CANCELLATION POLICY.

There is a 25% deposit required to hold your spot.

Reservations will not be considered or confirmed until the deposit is received.

The second payment of 50% of the remaining amount is required sixty (60) days prior to retreat start date.

The remaining balance must be paid thirty (30) days prior to retreat start date.

If your booking is made within thirty (30) days of the retreat date, the full payment is required at the time of booking.

Deposit payments are refundable if cancelation is received, in writing within 7 days of initial booking date, except where a booking is made within 7 days of the retreat.

In this case full payment for the retreat is required and is non refundable.

Failure to pay the full amount by the due date will result in the booking being released and resold.

Any payment made, including the deposit, will be forfeited unless a request to transfer to another retreat within the year, is received in writing at least 30 days prior to retreat.

Any date transfer is subject to availability.

All payments are transferable to another retreat date, subject to availability.

Requests for transferred retreat dates must be applied to retreats departing within 12 months of the initial booking. Requests must be received in writing at least 30 days prior to retreat start date.

Changes to this policy may be made on a ‘case by case’ basis and are made at the complete discretion of

Camel Rock Surf School.

All other payments are non refundable.

Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or

other unforeseen circumstances.
